Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Sr. Client Manager or Account Executive in Business Insurance.
  • Proven track record of excellent client service and mentoring of colleagues.
  • Strong understanding of Corporate, Compliance, and Surplus Lines Standards.
  • Proficient in utilizing technology and outsourcing options to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Positive, proactive, and systematic approach to problem-solving

  • Property & Casualty License Required
  • Annual CE Requirement

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the distribution of workloads among team members to ensure balanced account management in conjunction with Managing Director.
  • Implement strategies for proactive hiring and training to address capacity issues and knowledge transfer.
  • Monitor team performance and proficiency in key processes, providing support and resources as needed.
  • Identify training needs for both new hires and existing team members, ensuring that training is tailored to individual strengths and roles.
  • Coordinate the facilitation of regular training sessions on compliance, quality control, and best practices.
  • Encourage a spirit of ongoing professional development and mentorship opportunities for team members, promoting a culture of continuous learning.
  • Handle sensitive situations, ensuring that all training programs are comprehensive and relevant to the team's needs.
  • Review regular audits of team performance and processes to ensure adherence to corporate compliance standards.
  • Address audit findings promptly and coordinate with training team to implement corrective actions to improve service delivery.
  • Maintain clear communication with team members regarding compliance expectations and performance metrics.
  • In coordination with the Managing Director, conduct annual performance evaluations for team members, providing constructive feedback and setting development goals.
  • Organize and lead team meetings to discuss progress, address challenges, and share best practices.
  • Work closely with HR to address staffing needs, manage personnel issues, and support recruitment efforts.
  • Provide updates to senior management on team performance, operational challenges, and resource needs.
  • Participate in strategic planning sessions to align team goals with organizational objectives and identify areas for improvement.
  • Be prepared to address urgent issues as they arise, ensuring that the team remains focused and supported during transitions or challenges.
  • Regularly gather feedback from team members regarding their roles, challenges, and suggestions for improvement.
