About The Position
As a Business Insights & Analytics Intern, you'll work alongside business leaders to help optimize pricing decisions and drive profitable growth for the Animal Nutrition business unit. Through hands-on projects and cross-functional collaboration, you'll gain exposure to how data, market dynamics, and business strategies come together to influence decision-making.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program with junior standing or higher.
- Pursuing a degree in Business Analytics, Finance, Data Analytics, Business Management, Economics, or related fields.
- Demonstrated interest in using data to solve business problems.
- Experience working with Microsoft Excel, including formulas, PivotTables, and data analysis.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- All applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
Nice To Haves
- Exposure to Power BI, Tableau, SQL, or other data visualization and analytics tools.
- Coursework in analytics, statistics, pricing, economics, finance, or market research.
- Interest in commercial strategy, pricing, revenue management, or business intelligence.
- Understanding of agriculture, animal nutrition, or commodity markets.
- Previous internship, leadership, or project experience demonstrating analytical thinking.
Responsibilities
- Analyze pricing, sales, market, and profitability data to identify business opportunities and support strategic recommendations.
- Partner with Pricing, Supply Chain, Sales, Marketing, and Finance teams to understand how commercial decisions impact business performance.
- Learn how market trends, customer needs, competitor activity, and commodity dynamics influence pricing strategies.
- Develop data analysis, business storytelling, and decision-making skills through real-world projects.
- Create and present insights and recommendations to business stakeholders.
- Gain exposure to the agricultural and animal nutrition industries while building a strong understanding of commercial strategy and revenue management.
- Collaborate with peers, mentors, and leaders across the organization.
