About The Position

As a Business Information Security Principal, you will support the evolution of our Global Information Security strategy, driving innovation and operational excellence within our North America Client Group (NACG). In this role, you will oversee and strengthen the business’s cyber risk posture, ensuring security practices are aligned with organizational priorities. You will lead and coordinate major cybersecurity uplift programs, provide first-line leadership in cyber incident management, and partner closely with stakeholders across the business to embed effective, risk-aware security practices. In this role, you serve as a senior cybersecurity leader and the primary liaison between Global Information Security and the business, ensuring alignment between security priorities and organizational objectives. You are a strategic thinker with deep knowledge of security risks, technologies, and regulatory frameworks, and a skilled communicator who can translate complex concepts into actionable solutions. You are highly organized, collaborative, and effective at managing competing priorities while adapting to a dynamic security landscape.

Requirements

  • Hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree in law, business, technology, or a related field.
  • At least 10 years of experience in cyber security.
  • Worked in the financial industry or technology sector.
  • Knowledge of how to collaborate effectively with business units to implement security policies.
  • Strong understanding of cyber security technologies and tools, including data protection strategies, encryption, and access management.
  • Worked with cross-functional technology teams to implement privacy controls in complex environments.
  • Understand technology controls as they relate to data protection (e.g. encryption).
  • Managed and influenced stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

Nice To Haves

  • Security certifications such as CISSP are a plus.
