The Business HR Partner works under the supervision of more senior Business HR staff to proactively deliver Human Resources support in a wide variety of HR disciplines. Works in partnership with HR COEs to support the business and deliver solutions resulting in increased employee and organizational effectiveness. What you'll do: Works under the supervision of more senior Business HR staff to provide support to the business to address business problems. Ensures consulting is in alignment with BHR Manager of business unit. Obtains and maintains an understanding of business unit partners and maintains a close accessible relationship with them. Develops credible and trusting relationships with leaders, managers, and employees, and assumes key role as HR advisor in solving talent issues, typically supporting mid-level and front-line leadership. Support the business by organizing and facilitating talent reviews, culture action planning, performance and compensation calibrations and team building exercises. Support work associated with creating and updating job descriptions, responding to escalated issues from the ESC, working through organizational design and restructuring activities and coaching and developing leaders that is not directly related to ER case work. Prepare reports and presentations upon direction of BHR Manager or Director Partner with Business HR leaders and Compensation in review and analysis of pay compression issues and/or review of compensation as compared the market. Assists in identifying development opportunities for employees that align with current and future performance needs. Works collaboratively with other HR COEs and the organization to solve business problems and execute on talent strategy. Facilitate New Employee Orientation, Management Fundamentals and other training and facilitation as needed. Identifies and shares best practices across functions to facilitate continuous improvement. Ensures compliance with state and federal employment laws and regulations including but not limited to Family Medical Leave Act, Fair Labor Standards Act and Americans with Disability Act, and assists with preparation of Affirmative Action Plan(s). Assists with HR special projects and cross-functional activities as needed and assigned. Note: This position is posted at multiple grade levels and offers a range of opportunities for advancement. The minimum qualifications outlined below apply to the Business HR Partner level, with increased educational, skill, experience and certification requirements for higher level Business HR roles.
