About The Position

The Intelligence Solutions team supports our Data Licensing, Payer, Clinical Trial and Real World Evidence Solutions to drive revenue growth for the organization. Our dedicated sales and account management team to engage new clients, grow new markets and support existing clients Our operations team leads client implementations, financial reporting and data analysis. Our Clinical Trial Solutions product team is comprised of project managers and analysts driving our patient recruitment engagements and real-world evidence projects. Intelligence Solutions is responsible for both revenue and expense budgets along with a P&L. This individual plays a critical role in enabling revenue growth by ensuring accurate billing, disciplined financial management, and scalable operational processes. This role operates with a high degree of independence and acts as the primary point of contact for finance‑related decisions for the business This role serves as the primary finance subject matter expert and business partner for the Intelligence Solutions organization. The Senior Advisor owns client billing operations, payment tracking, and invoice creation to enable accurate and timely revenue realization. This individual is responsible for end‑to‑end financial tracking, budget adherence, P&L oversight, and leadership of forecasting cycles. The role operates with a high degree of independence and partners closely with internal Finance, Accounting, Sales, and Operations teams, as well as external clients, to resolve billing and payment matters. This individual also owns and manages business processes related to HIPAA authorization approval, partnering with Legal and Compliance to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements. Client submitted HIPAA authorization templates will be reviewed and approved based on documented requirements. Senior Advisor contributes to broader cross‑functional initiatives that require a strong understanding of the business, financial acumen, and operational judgment.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field
• 5+ years of progressively responsible experience in financial analysis, business finance, or a related discipline
• Demonstrated experience creating and managing revenue and expense budgets, including P&L ownership
• Working knowledge of financial booking processes, including accruals and reversals
• Experience reviewing and interpreting contracts to support accurate invoicing and revenue recognition
• Proven ability to partner effectively across all levels of the organization, including Finance, Accounting, Sales, Account Management, and Operations
• Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities and perform under tight deadlines
• Strong PC skills, including advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
• If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.

Responsibilities

• Own and create client invoices in accordance with contractual payment terms; track corresponding accruals and revenue recognition
• Lead month‑end revenue and expense reconciliation in partnership with Finance, utilizing standard financial reporting outputs
• Develop and maintain the annual revenue and expense budget; lead quarterly forecasting cycles and updates
• Conduct simple to moderate financial analysis and reporting to support business performance and decision‑making
• Using independent judgment and discretion, identify trends, variances, and key financial risks or opportunities related to revenue generation and provide recommendations for course correction
• Prepare financial reporting packages and recommend improvements to financial visibility and business reporting practices
• Leverage deep financial knowledge and professional expertise to advise functional and business leaders
• Support additional initiatives and ad hoc analyses as needed to enable business objectives
• Perform other tasks as needed in support of the business
• Drive continuous improvement by streamlining processes and identifying efficiency opportunities across finance and operations workflows
