About The Position

The Business Experience & Planning Specialist will serve as a trusted partner who anticipates needs and drives execution. This includes task related to Complex Calendar Management, Event & Meeting Coordination, Travel & Expense Management, and Executive-Level Support for multiple senior leaders. This role is a strategic, high-visibility position that requires strong executive presence, sound judgment, and the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, highly matrixed environment. A strong executive communication and presence when interacting with senior leaders and stakeholders across the organization is key.

Requirements

  • University / college degree, with 2+ years of relevant professional experience. In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education, job specific certification(s), and experience (including military service) may be considered.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and optimize the CIO’s calendar, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities, stakeholder needs, and executive preferences.
  • Coordinate executive-level logistics including travel, expense management, meeting materials, and follow-ups.
  • Apply strong business acumen to prioritize competing requests and manage relationships across a complex, multi-stakeholder environment.
  • Support the planning, tracking, and execution of line of business initiatives, including data collection, research, and reporting.
  • Develop clear, concise executive-level communications, presentations, and status updates.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams (technology, finance, risk, and shared services) to coordinate and advance key initiatives.
  • May assist in planning and executing large-scale events (e.g., all-hands meetings, leadership offsites), including logistics, agendas, communications, and post-event follow-up.
  • Identify process improvement opportunities and implement enhancements to administrative workflows, reporting, and planning processes.
  • Ensure adherence to risk management, confidentiality, and compliance standards in all activities.
  • Provides support and assistance for implementation and coordination of planning efforts for line of business initiatives.
  • Demonstrates commitment to quality by delivering customer focus and appropriate risk management practices to customers and/or internal partners.
  • Identifies more complex problems and provides advice and resolution in support of line of business initiatives.
  • Partners with other departments or other functional areas in support of line of business initiatives.
  • Independently provides data collection, research and reporting for assigned line of business initiatives.
  • Recommends and delivers best practices and learning plans that meet business objectives.
