  • Organized, dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with both numbers and people.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, or a related field, plus two years of business office experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 3–5 years of experience in business office management, finance, accounting, or a related field preferred.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and follow-through.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee and resident information.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently while also partnering effectively with a leadership team.
  • Experience with payroll, accounts receivable/accounts payable, or human resources is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Support the leadership team with recruiting, onboarding, employee orientation, retention initiatives, and general HR functions.
  • Assist with maintaining accurate and confidential personnel records.
  • Support benefit enrollment and employee-related processes.
  • Help ensure employees understand and follow Company policies, procedures, and expectations.
  • Assist with leave of absence administration and other employee matters.
  • Provide leadership and direction to assigned team members.
  • Manage and maintain accounts receivable and accounts payable processes.
  • Prepare census changes, enter payments and ancillary charges, prepare resident statements, and process resident renewals.
  • Complete monthly accounting responsibilities and assist with closing the accounts receivable books for each period.
  • Review invoices, route them to the appropriate department, enter invoices, and track payment information.
  • Verify and submit bi-weekly payroll timecards and maintain accurate PTO records.
  • Help ensure the community remains compliant with applicable laws, regulations, Company policies, and procedures.
  • Maintain confidentiality and compliance with regulations including HIPAA, OSHA, state requirements, and infection control protocols.
  • Partner with the leadership team to identify opportunities for improved processes, organization, and overall community operations.
