Business Director, International Pricing Strategy and Operations (Global Payment Network)

The International Pricing Team, a cornerstone of Capital One’s Global Payment Network, provides strategic and operational pricing leadership at the intersection of network economics and scalable innovation. We are looking for a seasoned Business Director to lead the Infrastructure and Implementation pillar, where you will architect the systems and processes that drive our network’s long-term resilience and profitability. In this role, you will lead a global, cross-functional team to define our strategic approach to complex payment flows, deconstructing challenges like interchange, network incentives, and monetization frameworks to build a best-in-class, future-ready pricing architecture. You will sit at the nexus of global commerce, financial strategy, and operational excellence, partnering with enterprise leaders to modernize our pricing infrastructure and ensure our network remains agile against evolving market dynamics and competitive pressures.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree
- At least 4 years of experience performing quantitative analysis
- At least 4 years of experience performing qualitative analysis
- At least 2 years of experience performing people management
- At least 2 years of experience performing project management
Nice To Haves
- Master’s Degree
- 2+ years of experience in financial services
- 1+ year of experience in consulting
- Previous consulting experience is a plus
Responsibilities
- Develop business strategies that will drive growth, profitability, and competitive success for Capital One in the face of shifting consumer and regulatory demands
- May manage and develop multiple analysts. Coaching and mentoring associates with a goal of developing and retaining talent at Capital One
- Manage and sequence delivery of business intent, build business requirements and execute against the strategy. Oversee multiple projects and programs concurrently
- Work closely with colleagues across Capital One including: Sales, Operations, Finance and others to drive improvement in quality, volume, service, and profitability
