About The Position

As a Business Director at Capital One, you will apply your strategic and analytical skills to major company challenges. You’ll team with world-class professionals to develop and test strategies that ultimately impact the bottom line. And you will do it all in a collaborative environment that values your insight, encourages you to take on new responsibility, promotes continuous learning, and rewards innovation. We are at a pivotal inflection point within the Global Payment Network. The U.S. and Canadian Markets (USCM) team is currently driving a comprehensive transformation across sales, risk, technology, and operation; reimagining how we drive growth and scale our impact. This is your chance to be at the center of this evolution, shaping the systems and strategies that will power our next chapter of market leadership. As a Business Director-Chief of Staff, you aren't just advising on the strategy; you are the architect of its execution. As the primary thought partner to the SVP of USCM, you will serve as a force multiplier for one of our most critical businesses. This is a high-visibility, high-impact platform designed for those who thrive at the intersection of complex strategy and rapid operational delivery. You will drive the strategic intent of the department, navigate a matrixed organization to solve ambiguous, high-stakes problems, and own the "rhythm of the business" for the senior leadership team. Your success here isn’t measured by the plans you deliver, but by the tangible impact you drive across cross-functional workstreams, executive narratives, and enterprise initiatives. Whether you are coming from a consulting background or a corporate strategy, this is the perfect platform if you are looking to trade “advisory” for “ownership” and accelerate your career in strategy, sales, and operations.
