About The Position

As the first business development person at Sieve, a multi-modal lab curating high-quality training datasets, you will be responsible for building and deepening relationships across frontier AI labs, emerging model companies, and the broader data ecosystem. Your role involves identifying new labs to partner with, expanding relationships within existing customer accounts, and recognizing new opportunities where Sieve can provide solutions. You will report directly to the CEO and collaborate closely with GMs and the COO. Your primary objective is to identify key contacts, initiate high-value conversations, shape opportunities, and leverage internal and external resources to drive progress. Commercial scoping, pricing, and closing will be handled by the GMs. Additionally, you will lead the strategy and execution for programs aimed at generating inbound demand, such as events, conferences, ecosystem partnerships, and marketing initiatives.
