This is a 1099 sales and consulting role with an uncapped commission plan. You will build relationships with business owners, gather key information, generate funding applications, and submit them to our in-office closing team. The company is one of the largest brokerage platforms in the alternative lending industry, with a mission to empower small and medium-sized businesses often overlooked by traditional banks. The role emphasizes human connection, as small business owners will not let a machine handle their money. Professional verbal and written communication skills in English are required. The role requires self-motivation, a strong work ethic, and the ability to hold oneself accountable without direct management. Comfort with high volume outbound phone activity and a resilient mindset are essential, as this is a cold calling role. A competitive and goal-oriented mindset is also important, with a focus on drive and coachability over experience. The ability to learn and apply product knowledge quickly is necessary, though financial experience is not required.
