We employ a range of people from service technicians, environmental scientists, construction professionals and office employees.    Job Description: Prospect and develop new markets and service existing accounts in assigned territory. Maintain a high level of sales and quality customer excellence. Find and cultivate new leads/sales through outbound cold calling and other forms of communication for an assigned line of business. Support marketing efforts by following up on marketing activities and further developing marketing leads and building the marketing database within the CRM system.

Requirements

  • Requires Associates degree in Business Administration, Marketing or a related field or equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years experience in a lead generation or inside sales role.
  • Ability to connect the “pain” of the potential client during a lower level discussion to a higher level need.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
  • Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.
  • Works under intermittent supervision.
  • Primary job functions periodically require exercising independent judgment.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of parts and equipment unique to the underground storage tank and related petroleum industry is a plus.
  • Previous experience with a CRM system is a strong plus for lead tracking/logging.

Responsibilities

  • Perform outbound marketing and sales outreach through phone and email to engage customers and prospects, generate leads for the assigned line of business, and drive additional sales for the eCommerce store and parts counter.
  • Conduct market research to generate valid marketing lists and key targets for future marketing activities. Help implement new tools and processes to effectively manage and maximize the lead generation/inside sales efforts.
  • Utilize CRM to log qualified leads to either personally follow-up on (distribution) or pass to relevant outside salesperson to follow-up on.
  • Assisting customer service team with phone calls during times of need–employees on vacation, busy periods, etc.
  • Organize support materials to maximize efficiency and speed of taking care of the customer.
  • Other duties as assigned.
