Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman has an immediate opening for a Business Development Specialist, who will be part of the global marketing and business development team. The position can be based in Silicon Valley, San Francisco, or New York. Working with the Senior Manager or Director of Business Development for assigned practices, and with the support of colleagues across the platform, the Business Development Specialist will be responsible for: Working with lawyers in assigned practices to execute business development plans, initiatives and activities Creating, customizing and regularly updating pitch documents, directory submissions and other marketing content to ensure they are well written and positioned appropriately towards specific target audiences Monitoring business, legal and geopolitical news to potential opportunities for individual partners and practice groups Assisting with business development tasks related to onboarding and integration of assigned lateral partners Executing and conducting follow up as appropriate with respect to client events and webinars, as well as other thought leadership campaigns Other duties as assigned
