About The Position

The Business Development Representative program aims to develop a revenue pipeline for the sales team and is key to our growth strategy as a company. You’ll have the chance to learn from senior leadership and the potential for future roles in sales, marketing, and customer success with a rapidly changing and growing software company. This team is highly competitive and collaborative. Members of our team always want to finish first, but want their teammates to come in a very close second.

  • Ability to work in a high-energy sales team environment.
  • Positive and energetic communication skills via phone or email, excellent listening skills, strong writing skills.
  • Willingness to A/B test messaging and try new things and experiment.
  • Personal drive and love of sharing successes with your team.
  • Ability to push hard from day one and be hungry to learn, without having all the answers.

Responsibilities

  • Engage prospective customers through a mix of phone, email, social media, and technology-driven outreach. Listen actively to understand their needs and identify how Lambent can best support their goals.
  • Collaborate closely with sales and marketing to convert qualified interest into meaningful opportunities.
  • Communicate with clarity and professionalism, representing Lambent’s key differentiators in every conversation.
  • Take a strategic approach to lead qualification, balancing data-driven insights with curiosity and genuine connection.
  • Leverage technology, including AI, to automate tasks and work more efficiently.
