Who You Are: As a Business Development Representative at Citian, you're on the frontline of driving our company's growth in new and existing markets across the U.S. You're comfortable working in a fast-paced setting with multiple responsibilities – qualifying and following up with inbound leads and proactively generating new prospects through outbound activities. You will be traveling to various trade shows and conferences to build leads and our brand. You're confident in speaking to new prospects and developing these into leads and successful outcomes. You're a quick learner and adaptable and have a strong desire to progress through the company.

Requirements

  • 1+ years of Business Development experience
  • Capable of developing quality leads with decision-makers that can be converted by our Sales Executive team
  • Desire to make a minimum of 75 outbound calls per day to potential new customers and ensure all activity is logged with Salesforce
  • Ability to thrive in a demanding, team-based, fast-moving environment
  • Outbound prospecting activity through phone, email, and LinkedIn as well as other Sales tools
  • Proficient in Salesforce

Nice To Haves

  • B2B sales experience in an inside sales capacity
  • Familiarity with state and local governments is a plus
  • SaaS sales experience a plus
