About The Position

Madison Honda, one of New Jersey's most successful Honda dealerships, is seeking dedicated Business Development Representatives (BDC) to join our Internet Sales team. This is a full-time position offering a competitive salary range of $70,000 to $115,000 annually, plus a $1,000 signing bonus. As a BDC Representative, you will manage incoming phone calls and internet leads, confirm sales appointments, and conduct long-term follow-up with unsold customers from various sources including internet leads, showroom visits, and phone inquiries. Your goal will be to nurture strong customer relationships and generate repeat business by ensuring customer satisfaction throughout their ownership experience. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous experience in a similar role is required
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient with internet applications and computer software
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to track multiple leads effectively
  • Demonstrated follow-through and follow-up abilities

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience at a Honda dealership is preferred but not mandatory
  • Sales experience is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Make outbound calls to prospective and current customers
  • Record all customer comments and interactions accurately in the system
  • Schedule and confirm sales appointments, including rescheduling no-show customers
  • Follow up with the sales team to verify appointment outcomes
  • Maintain and update customer information within the database
  • Execute contact strategies based on marketing initiatives
  • Respond promptly to customer website inquiries
  • Engage internet customers via email, phone, and text to schedule appointments following a set timeline
  • Notify appropriate departments when appointments are booked
  • Assist with additional tasks as assigned to support team operations
