You’ll be the face of the brand in the market — prospecting, pitching, closing, and onboarding new commercial maintenance clients. This is a high-visibility role with direct impact on revenue and a clear path forward for the right person.

Requirements

  • 2+ years in sales or business development (landscaping, property management, or facilities a plus)
  • A self-starter who doesn’t wait to be told what to do
  • Strong communicator who builds rapport quickly and follows through
  • Organized and disciplined with CRM usage, KPI tracking, and pipeline hygiene
  • Comfortable working independently and traveling throughout the Wilmington area

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field preferred — not required

Responsibilities

  • Prospect and engage commercial clients — property managers, HOAs, developers, and facility directors
  • Drive pipeline through cold calls, in-person visits, and targeted outreach
  • Monitor new developments and construction projects for emerging opportunities
  • Represent PureGreen at local networking events and industry gatherings
  • Manage the full sales cycle from first contact to signed contract
  • Maintain a disciplined CRM with consistent tracking of outreach, follow-ups, and proposals
  • Partner with estimating and operations teams to build competitive proposals
  • Consistently meet or exceed activity-based and revenue KPIs
  • Serve as primary contact for new clients during onboarding
  • Ensure smooth transition to operations while maintaining early client satisfaction
  • Identify upsell and additional service opportunities within your book of business
  • Partner with the Sales Manager on territory planning and market strategy
  • Coordinate with Account Managers and Branch Managers on service quality and retention
  • Actively contribute team knowledge on market activity and competitor intel
