About The Position

We are building the state-of-the-art AI platform for the discovery and development of clean energy and mineral resources. We bring the most advanced techniques in generative AI, foundation modeling, and autonomous decision optimization to tackle the most important problems in the geosciences. These systems can help more reliably identify critical resource deposits, more rapidly measure and characterize them, and design more efficient and sustainable production plans. We are backed by Khosla Ventures and other leading venture investors. We are now looking to grow our team from ~15 to ~30 by the end of the year to continue to mature our technology and support deployment with our world-class mineral and clean energy partners. We are hiring our first Business Development Representative — a foundational and high-visibility hire within the Growth organization. This is not a traditional sales role. It is a strategic, industry-facing role focused on helping Terra AI build meaningful relationships and commercial presence across the global mineral exploration ecosystem.

Requirements

  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
  • Able to build trust and communicate effectively across technical and commercial audiences
  • Ability to professionally represent Terra AI across industry interactions
  • Strong learning agility and comfort engaging with technical subject matter
  • Comfortable engaging with both technical and commercial stakeholders
  • Willingness to travel regularly for conferences, partner meetings, and industry events

Responsibilities

  • Build Terra AI’s network and reputation across the global mineral exploration community
  • Identify and engage high-quality exploration companies, operators, and stakeholders
  • Develop trusted relationships with geologists, technical leaders, executives, and investors
  • Represent Terra AI at industry conferences, technical forums, and field-facing events
  • Partner directly with the Head of Growth to structure and advance commercial relationships
  • Build and manage a high-quality pipeline of partnership opportunities
