About The Position

We are seeking a motivated Business Development Representative to expand our relationships with property managers, insurance agents, real estate professionals, and commercial facilities. This is an entrepreneurial, commission-based role for someone who wants the freedom to grow their income by generating new business opportunities. Your primary objective will be to create and develop new relationships that lead to scheduled presentations, consultations, and service opportunities for our cleaning and restoration teams. This position is ideal for someone who is self-motivated, outgoing/extrovert, and comfortable networking and prospecting in the field. We serve residential and commercial clients throughout San Antonio and surrounding communities. Business Development Representative Job Summary The main responsibility is opening doors and building relationships that create opportunities for our operations teams. Initiate communication with individuals and organizations to arrange planned meetings and cultivate relationships with key decision-makers, ultimately resulting in lead generation and referrals for customers requiring our cleaning & restoration services. Our goal is to secure commitments from these potential referral sources. Additionally, we aim to foster strong connections with our existing customers and referral partners through regular phone and in-person interactions, ensuring their continued loyalty and support. By maintaining active engagement, we enhance customer retention and strengthen our network of reliable referral sources. Your focus is on relationship development and lead generation, not project management or to perform cleaning & restoration services.

Requirements

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Confidence initiating conversations with new people
  • A proactive, self-starter mindset
  • Comfort with networking, prospecting, and outreach
  • Ability to represent the brand professionally in the community
  • Experience in the following is helpful, but not required - must be willing to learn, train and grow
  • Sales or Business Development in Home Services, Property Management, Insurance, Real Estate and/or Facility Management
  • Motivation and desire to gain experience in relationship-based sales

Responsibilities

  • Identify potential new customers and referral sources.
  • Create and maintain sales route records.
  • Representing the company professionally in the community.
  • Perform sales calls and visits resulting in scheduled meetings with target referral prospects.
  • Gain commitment from customers leading to referrals of those in need of restoration services.
  • Complete weekly and monthly sales reports in a timely manner.
  • Maintain phone and in-person contact with existing customers.
  • Maintain customer contact database.
  • Make group presentations to prospective organizations.
