As a Business Development Representative at Giftogram, you will be on the front lines of growth — building the pipeline that powers our outbound sales engine. You will identify and engage decision-makers at mid-market and enterprise companies, open new conversations, and create qualified opportunities for the Account Executive team. This is a role for someone energized by breaking through, starting conversations, and creating opportunities where none existed before — and who is excited to help build a high-performing outbound engine from the ground up.

Requirements

  • You have 1–3 years of experience in a BDR, SDR, or outbound sales role — or you are earlier in your career with undeniable drive, commercial instinct, and a genuine hunger to build something
  • You are energized by outbound — you do not wait for leads to come to you, you go find them
  • You lead with curiosity — you research before you reach out, ask thoughtful questions, and listen carefully to what prospects actually say
  • You are resilient and coachable — you handle rejection without losing momentum, take feedback seriously, and continuously work to improve your craft
  • You are disciplined and process-oriented — you follow the playbook, update the CRM, and manage your activity without needing someone to chase you
  • You care about the quality of conversations, not just the volume of activity — thoughtful outreach matters more than hitting a call count
  • You take pride in performance — you like being measured, improving your numbers, and competing with yourself to get better each month

Responsibilities

  • Build and execute outbound prospecting sequences across email, LinkedIn, and phone — targeting the program owners and business leaders who drive rewards, incentive, and gifting initiatives at mid-market and enterprise companies
  • Research target accounts to identify the right buyer, understand their business, and craft outreach that is specific and relevant — not generic
  • Qualify inbound and outbound leads through structured discovery conversations — identifying real problems before introducing a solution
  • Book qualified discovery meetings for Account Executives — success is measured by meetings that show up and convert into real opportunities
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in HubSpot — every touchpoint logged, every follow-up tracked, and every prospect status current
  • Collaborate closely with Account Executives to refine targeting, improve messaging, and build sequences that convert
  • Continuously test and iterate on messaging, sequences, and targeting — contributing to the evolution of Giftogram's outbound motion and sharing what works with the team
