About The Position

Eaton's Electrical sector is currently seeking a Business Development Representative to join our team. This position is based at our Mississauga, ON facility and offers benefits from day one as well as a company vehicle. The targeted annual compensation for this role is $117,000 - $145,000 per year inclusive of bonus. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree from an accredited institution or a Red Seal (309A) Interprovincial Journeyman Electrician Certification/Ticket
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in the electrical sector
  • Must be authorized to work in Canada without company sponsorship now and in the future
  • Valid and unrestricted drivers licence

Nice To Haves

  • Diploma or Degree from an accredited institution in Electrical Engineering Technology, Power Systems Engineering, or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of technical experience in the electrical industry
  • P Eng. or CET designation, Business Degree
  • Knowledge of Eaton electrical products, services and its competitors

Responsibilities

  • Achieving assigned Sales and Orders objectives for Eaton products and services, focusing on key existing, target accounts and business development within the North and East of the city.
  • Manage all aspects of the customer relationship, providing sales and technical assistance to distributors, customers, contractors, and end users, to drive sustainable sales growth.
  • Proactively identify, research, and generate new leads.
  • Implement sales plans and growth strategies, to achieve annual performance objectives.
  • Prepare sales proposals and value propositions to satisfy customer needs and expectations.
  • Understand, and be responsive to, market conditions and competitive activities; Communicate such information internally to drive corrective actions and inform Regional & District strategies.
  • Promote Eaton products and services to optimize sales volume, product mix, and profitability.
  • Achieve team Orders and Sales goals.
  • Maintain co-operative and credible working relationships with internal personnel, to consistently exceed customer expectations.
  • Cultivate customer, channel, and internal relationships.
  • Develop bid strategies and quotations for customers using price and delivery guidelines, applying sound business decisions to enhance sales volume and margins.
  • Perform all job functions with adherence to Eaton's Philosophy and Values as well as Safety and Environmental standards.
