About The Position

We are a well-established Union (Local 597) HVAC contractor specializing in commercial and industrial construction and service. As we continue to grow, we’re looking to bring on a Business Development Representative / Account Manager to help expand our client base and generate new work. This is a field-based, relationship-driven sales role focused on building partnerships, managing accounts, and identifying new commercial HVAC and mechanical project opportunities.

Requirements

  • Experience in HVAC sales, mechanical sales, business development, or account management OR a strong HVAC/mechanical background with interest in transitioning into a sales role
  • Proven ability to build relationships and generate work
  • Self-motivated with a “hunter” and “relationship builder” mindset
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Comfortable in a client-facing, field-based sales environment

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain relationships with commercial and industrial clients, GCs, and property managers
  • Generate new business opportunities for HVAC service, maintenance agreements, and construction projects
  • Act as a trusted advisor and point of contact for existing accounts
  • Support light PR, networking, and business development efforts in the local market
  • Collaborate with internal operations and estimating teams to turn opportunities into awarded projects
  • Spend the majority of time in the field meeting clients and building relationships
