About The Position

We're seeking a Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our growing sales team and help expand our client base across the financial services industry. In this role, you'll be responsible for identifying, engaging, and qualifying prospective financial institutions, partnering closely with Marketing and Account Management to build pipeline and drive new business. You'll play a key role in connecting Wealth Access with the right institutions at the right time — translating market opportunity into qualified conversations that fuel revenue growth. By developing targeted outreach strategies and building relationships with key stakeholders, you help accelerate our go-to-market momentum. This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives on outbound prospecting, enjoys building relationships, and wants to make a direct impact on a high-growth fintech company.

Requirements

  • Experienced in prospecting, targeting, and closing deals in financial services (2+ years), with a track record of creating and executing sales strategy
  • A clear and compelling communicator who can convey complex technical concepts in an understandable manner, both verbally and in writing
  • Ambitious and self-directed, with the ability to set goals independently and consistently meet or exceed both personal and team targets
  • Client-focused, with a demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships, understand client needs, and provide tailored solutions
  • Curious and eager to learn, especially within a technology or fintech environment

Responsibilities

  • Prospect with financial services firms by reaching out to key stakeholders
  • Create and execute targeted strategies to identify and engage prospective leads
  • Coordinate with Marketing in the development and execution of outreach campaigns
  • Qualify leads into prospects based on fit, need, and timing
  • Analyze potential client pain points and recommend solutions to address those points
  • Build long-term relationships with key stakeholders within prospective firms
  • Lead clients through the sales process
  • Develop and deliver presentations, adjusting messaging for the audience
  • Partner with internal Account Managers and Business Development Representatives to build pipeline, schedule prospect meetings, and execute business deals
