About The Position

The Business Development Representative role is based in the Lancaster County, and Montgomery, PA area and is a part of our Commercial Sales Group. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who is experienced in exceeding sales targets, identifying and securing new business opportunities within the commercial HVAC, plumbing, and electrical sectors, and loves providing outstanding customer service while focusing on doing quality work. Requirements

  • 5 to 10 years' of experience in Business Development
  • Proven sales and marketing expertise, with a track record of success.
  • Technical knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
  • Strong customer relationship management abilities.
  • Excellent presentation and negotiation skills.
  • Strategic planning and business development acumen.
  • Effective problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Flexibility to accommodate client needs and achieve sales targets, including evenings and weekends.
  • Willingness to travel frequently to client sites, industry events, and company meetings.
  • Background check, physical evaluation, drug screening and motor vehicle record performed.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and secure new business opportunities in commercial HVAC, plumbing, and electrical sectors.
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve targets and expand the customer base.
  • Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends and customer needs.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, providing exceptional customer service.
  • Offer technical guidance and support to clients, helping them choose the right solutions.
  • Prepare and present sales proposals, negotiate terms, and close deals.
  • Collaborate with internal teams for smooth project execution.
  • Maintain accurate sales records and prepare reports.
  • Monitor market and competitor activity.
