About The Position

ADP is hiring a Business Development Representative for their Compliance Solutions division. As a Lead Development Representative, you will work independently and collaboratively within your assigned territory to uncover untapped potential by nurturing marketing leads from various sources (event follow-ups, ADP Website visits, Webinars, etc.) and advancing them into sales opportunities. You will cultivate relationships, set appointments, and assess prospect needs to present the best ADP solutions, utilizing the latest digital technology. Requirements

  • One to two years of prior work experience or internships in Retail, Marketing, Business Development, Food Service, Insurance Sales, or another relevant industry, OR Military experience where skills including teamwork, resilience, negotiation, trust-building, and a "never lose" mentality will help you build relationships and achieve success.
  • Skills to do the job (a college degree is not required).

  • Prior quota-carrying, prospecting, and business development experience
  • Ability to successfully build a network and effectively use social media for sales

Responsibilities

  • Work independently and collaboratively as part of various teams within your assigned territory to cultivate prospect accounts, nurturing and advancing them into sales opportunities.
  • Implement a sales strategy targeted to decision-makers and business owners to build a network and capture new business.
  • Strategically cultivate additional business within existing accounts by selling cloud-based human resources solutions.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor, partner, and ADP ambassador to your prospects, internal partners, and overall network while demonstrating grace under pressure and the highest ethical standards.
