This role plays a critical part in Zenity's next phase of growth. The Business Development Representative (BDR) will own top-of-funnel pipeline generation for their assigned Account Executives (AEs), directly influencing how large enterprises first engage with AI agent security and with Zenity. The BDR will be one of the first people a senior security buyer speaks with at Zenity, and that first interaction matters. The role involves handling inbound leads (MQLs, webinar attendees, content leads, partner-sourced contacts) by researching, qualifying, and working with AEs to go deeper into accounts. It also requires strategizing with AEs on account penetration and contributing to a team culture where the work is understood and respected. The team is event-driven, and BDRs are encouraged to find creative ways to engage, thinking beyond standard sequences to get in front of CISOs at target accounts. The hiring manager has direct experience as an SDR and values ownership, coaching, and high standards, expecting hunger, fearlessness, and professionalism from the team.
