About The Position

The Strategic Accounts team is responsible for helping Connecteam win the industries, brands, and partnerships that will define our next stage of growth. We operate like a startup within Connecteam - moving quickly, testing new ideas, and building repeatable go-to-market motions. This role combines the best of two worlds. The majority of your time will be spent generating new business through outbound prospecting, primarily cold calling. You'll also regularly travel across the US to attend conferences, trade shows, customer events, and industry association meetings, where you'll represent Connecteam, build relationships with business owners and operators, and generate qualified opportunities through face-to-face conversations. You'll partner closely with experienced Account Executives, become an expert in your assigned industries, and play a direct role in helping Connecteam break into new markets and strategic accounts. Requirements

  • 1-2 years of experience as a BDR, SDR, or Business Development Representative at a SaaS company. - must.
  • Proven success generating meetings through outbound prospecting - MUST
  • Comfortable traveling across the US regularly (approximately 25-35%) - MUST
  • Enjoy working in a fast-paced, high-growth startup dynamic environment.
  • Confident, clear communicator who’s comfortable speaking with owners, operators, and decision-makers.
  • Track record of beating quotas in a fast-moving environment.
  • A strong will-to-win mindset: competitive, hungry, and motivated by beating targets.
  • Execution-driven: you move fast, take ownership, and don’t wait for perfect instructions
  • Resourceful and analytical: able to break down problems and find angles that open doors.

Responsibilities

  • Generate pipeline through outbound prospecting. Build qualified meetings through cold calling, LinkedIn outreach, and thoughtful account research.
  • Generate pipeline through conferences and events. Represent Connecteam at industry conferences, trade shows, and customer events, turning conversations into qualified business opportunities.
  • Research strategic accounts and industries. Identify high-potential brands, map decision-makers, and uncover opportunities that shape our go-to-market strategy.
  • Become an industry expert. Develop a deep understanding of your assigned vertical by speaking with customers, prospects, and ecosystem partners.
  • Win every sprint. Consistently exceed meeting targets while contributing ideas that improve your team's strategy, messaging, and execution.
