About The Position

GenomeMe Canada Inc. is a fast-growing biotechnology company specializing in high-quality GeneAb IHC Antibodies and related diagnostic solutions. We are seeking a versatile Business Development & Production Assistant to support both our commercial and production operations. This role bridges business development and laboratory production—ideal for an organized, detail-oriented individual who enjoys both administrative coordination and hands-on lab work in a dynamic biotech environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Business, or a related field
  • Prior experience in sales coordination, business administration, or laboratory production preferred
  • Experience in a biotechnology or life sciences environment considered an asset
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills with attention to accuracy and detail
  • Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); experience with CRM or ERP systems an asset
  • Receptive to feedback and committed to continuous learning

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Business Development Manager in executing sales, marketing, and client relationship initiatives
  • Communicate with customers, distributors, and partners regarding GenomeMe products and services
  • Process customer orders accurately; coordinate with production and operations teams to ensure timely fulfillment and shipment
  • Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries, requests, and complaints
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales orders, and related documentation
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve order, delivery, or communication issues efficiently
  • Perform daily laboratory production tasks related to the manufacture of GenomeMe’s GeneAb IHC Antibodies
  • Follow established standard operating procedures (SOPs) and maintain accurate documentation of all production activities
  • Ensure compliance with laboratory safety practices and WHMIS regulations
  • Identify and report deviations or non-conformances in the production process
  • Work collaboratively with production staff to meet daily output targets and maintain product quality standards
  • Perform day-to-day responsibilities with minimal supervision while maintaining a high standard of accuracy and accountability
  • Think independently, solve problems, and adapt to shifting priorities and company resource limitations
  • Communicate clearly across departments to ensure smooth coordination between business and production teams
  • Continuously self-evaluate and strive for personal and professional improvement
