Responsible for building strong relationships that allow for expanding and deepening the Fifth Third customer base. Provides guidance, coaching, and development support across the retail division on business development activities to drive consumer and small business household acquisition. Identifies and shares best practices that will allow for successful team execution of the sales process, including aspects related to the Relationship Management Funnel and the Business Development model. Partners with all levels of the leadership team to collaborate on key small business and consumer household growth opportunities in the market. Collaborates with sales team to provide expertise in how to manage a pipeline of companies including expanding of existing relationships. Identify new business opportunities through one bank partnership(s). Responsible and accountable for risk by openly exchanging ideas and opinions, elevating concerns, and personally following policies and procedures as defined. Accountable for always doing the right thing for customers and colleagues and ensures that actions and behaviors drive a positive customer experience.
