About The Position

GMC Commissioning, Inc. (GMC Cx) is a San Diego-based firm providing third-party commissioning, monitoring-based commissioning and building analytics, and commissioning, qualification and validation (CQV) services. We work with owners, developers and facility managers on higher education, public agency, life sciences and mission-critical data center projects to improve building performance, reduce energy use and verify quality through the life of their assets. Our approach pairs technical depth with data so that clients can make better decisions and realize long-term value. GMC Cx is hiring a Business Development and Marketing Manager to run sales operations for our three business units: Commissioning (Cx); Commissioning, Qualification and Validation (CQV); and Analytics. The principals and directors of each business unit generate leads and opportunities and hand them to this position to price, assemble and deliver the proposal. The position also researches new opportunities for all three business units, manages our CRM, supports internal and external events, and runs our inbound and outbound marketing. The right candidate is organized under deadline pressure and comfortable moving between a fee calculation, a campaign and an event plan in the same week.
