About The Position

Levitt-Safety is looking for a driven and strategic Business Development Manager to grow our presence in the mining & industrial sector. This role is ideal for a business development professional who thrives in complex, relationship-driven sales environments and is excited to learn and operate within heavy industrial settings. You’ll work closely with mines, OEMs, and heavy equipment dealers - positioning Levitt-Safety as a trusted partner in protecting people, equipment, and operations.

Requirements

  • Proven success in business development or sales within industrial, technical, or service-based environments.
  • Experience managing long, complex sales cycles and building strategic partnerships.
  • Strong “hunter” mindset with the ability to open doors and grow new accounts.
  • Mechanical/technical aptitude and ability to understand operational environments.
  • Experience working with stakeholders such as maintenance, engineering, or safety teams.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Experience using CRM tools (Salesforce preferred).
  • Willingness to travel extensively to remote sites.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in mining, heavy equipment, industrial services, or safety solutions.
  • Exposure to remote or high-compliance work environments.
  • Bilingual (French/English) for Eastern Canada.

Responsibilities

  • Grow our presence in the mining & industrial sector.
  • Work closely with mines, OEMs, and heavy equipment dealers.
  • Position Levitt-Safety as a trusted partner in protecting people, equipment, and operations.
  • Meet all site safety requirements (including certifications and testing).
  • Work in challenging environments and weather conditions.
  • Follow strict safety protocols and use appropriate PPE.
  • Conduct site visits, equipment assessments, and audits.
  • Lead by example as a trusted safety ambassador.
