About The Position

We are seeking a driven and customer-focused Business Development Manager to join our Specialized Recruiting Group team in Cleveland, Ohio. In this role, you’ll generate new business, grow existing client relationships, and promote SRG’s services across a variety of professional disciplines. You’ll work closely with the Managing Director and Recruiting team to ensure clients receive exceptional service and talent solutions. Requirements

  • 3+ years of professional talent solutions business development in IT and/or Engineering strongly preferred
  • Proven success in prospecting, closing sales, and exceeding revenue targets
  • Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Self-motivated with excellent time management and organizational abilities
  • A team player with a customer-first mindset and a drive to deliver value

Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through outbound prospecting, networking, referrals, and community involvement
  • Conduct client meetings (virtually and in-person) to understand workforce needs and present tailored solutions
  • Manage the full sales cycle, from lead generation to signed service agreements
  • Build and maintain long-term client partnerships through regular check-ins, performance reviews, and strategic conversations
  • Serve as a consultative partner to hiring managers
  • Ensure client satisfaction through proactive communication and issue resolution
  • Work closely with the Recruiting team to align client expectations with candidate delivery
  • Provide market intelligence, feedback, and insights to guide recruiting strategies
  • Participate in marketing initiatives and networking events to elevate SRG’s brand visibility
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activity, pipeline, and client interactions in the CRM system
  • Track key performance metrics and contribute to office revenue goals
  • Ensure all processes are aligned with company standards and compliance requirements
