About The Position

With our continued growth into large-scale venues, HSS is expanding our footprint within stadiums, arenas, convention centers, and major event operations nationwide. HSS is currently seeking a Business Development Manager (BDM) to support our national sales team in our  Stadium and Events expansion division. The Business Development Manager is responsible for driving the company’s growth by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities within stadiums, arenas, live events, festivals, convention centers, and large-scale venues. This role focuses on building strategic partnerships, expanding market presence, and securing staffing contracts for high-volume, high-profile events. The BDM will work closely with operations, recruiting, and leadership teams to deliver customized staffing solutions that support event success and client satisfaction.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of outside sales focused business development experience, preferably within hospitality, stadiums, events, or large-scale venues.
  • Proven success in business development or sales with a history of meeting or exceeding revenue targets.
  • Knowledge of market research and sales strategy development.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, growth-driven environment.
  • Experience using Salesforce, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Strategic thinking and strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Willingness to travel to stadiums, events, and client meetings nationwide up to 50%
