About The Position

The Business Development Manager will lead sales coverage and market/business development management services, focusing on the Aerospace market. This role is accountable for developing the market for Incora products and services within an assigned geographical territory, including travel. The position involves collaborating with Inside/Outside Sales to build and maintain sales, and incorporating Incora sales initiatives, policies, and programs to support business plans and strategic objectives. The Business Development Manager will work independently to develop customer relationships through sales calls, maintaining strong market intelligence, product knowledge, and awareness of local competitive conditions. The role requires prospecting, generating, evaluating, and developing qualified sales leads into strong customer relationships by researching and presenting sales opportunities aligned with customer requirements and goals. Understanding and incorporating Incora's philosophy, values, visions, and Sales initiatives in all behaviors, practices, and decisions is essential. The role involves traveling throughout the assigned region to call on existing and prospect customers to solicit opportunities for Incora chemical sales, with an understanding of Chemical Components of sales. The Business Development Manager will develop new customer relationships, provide input and maintain the CRM database, and scope potential opportunities. They will actively visit customers, new or existing, independently and/or in conjunction with other Incora functions, and are expected to meet and/or exceed annual goals (bookings, gross profit dollar, and gross profit percentage). Maintaining professionalism, customer service, and customer focus while building strategic partnerships with potential and existing Incora accounts is key. The role requires effectively communicating the status of current customer activities and/or new prospects throughout the Incora organization and submitting periodic sales reports and expenses as required, adhering to applicable policies and budgetary allowances. Attendance at regularly scheduled and impromptu Sales meetings and company-sponsored training, meetings, and events is also required.

Requirements

  • Solid Aerospace experience is essential.
  • Business acumen, along with Commercial awareness and excellent communication skills are essential.
  • Proven sales experience which demonstrates pro-activity, attention to detail, excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks well.
  • Able to work under pressure.
  • Strong follow-through and perseverance to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to deal tactfully, confidently and ethically with both internal and external customers.
  • Ability to be detailed oriented and perform in-depth research, if required.
  • Strong competency working with integrated data systems, Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook and intermediate to advanced Word and Excel (i.e., spreadsheets, formulas, importing and exporting of files, as applicable) as required.
  • Ability to travel extensively.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of Aerospace chemicals and MRO market preferred.
  • BA or BS degree in Marketing, Engineering or Business is preferred, or a combination of relevant education and experience.
  • Current contacts and working relationships within the aerospace/industrial market.
  • A strong team player with a history of personal self-development.
  • Direct experience in a chemical management services contract and service provision is an advantage.

Responsibilities
