About The Position

This role is responsible for supporting and growing the company's presence in the Permian Basin for all corrosion control and asset protection service lines. The ideal candidate will bring strong industry relationships, a working understanding of upstream/midstream operations, and a proven ability to win new work and grow existing accounts. The position requires achieving annual awarded revenue goals of $10M+. This is a hybrid role that necessitates regular travel throughout the Midland/Odessa area and other locations as required.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of sales experience in the oil & gas industry (Permian Basin experience strongly preferred)
  • Established network of industry contacts in the Permian Basin
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding business goals, including annual awarded revenue targets of $10M+
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to work independently within a territory and collaborate effectively with internal teams
  • Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record and willingness to travel

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with E&P companies and pipeline operators
  • Technical experience related to corrosion prevention and cathodic protection
  • Salesforce (or similar CRM) experience
  • Oil & gas construction knowledge (excavation, hydro-excavation, pipeline operations)

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage a focused list of strategic target accounts within the Permian Basin.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with operators, service companies, and key decision-makers.
  • Manage existing customer accounts.
  • Expand existing customer relationships and cross-sell applicable service lines.
  • Achieve annual awarded revenue goals of $10M+ by identifying, qualifying, and converting opportunities.
  • Identify and pursue new sales opportunities through cold calling, site visits, and networking.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to identify growth opportunities.
  • Collaborate with operations and leadership teams to ensure successful project execution from award through closeout.
  • Support effective handoffs from business development to operations, ensuring scope clarity and customer alignment.
  • Stay engaged with customers during execution to address questions, coordinate updates, and support issue resolution.
