About The Position

As a Business Development Manager, you will leverage your expertise in consultative and solution-based sales to create trusted partnerships with our clients. Working closely with cross-functional teams, such as risk and compliance, you will design and deliver customized audit solutions that truly meet the needs of our clients. In this role, you will build new relationships through effective lead generation and strategic prospecting activities while seeking opportunities to strengthen existing partnerships with strategically important clients.

Requirements

  • At least 8+ years of B2B sales experience.
  • Proven experience in solution sales and new business development.
  • Demonstrable experience in prospecting and closing new business opportunities.
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales and revenue targets.

Nice To Haves

  • An understanding of compliance, risk and operating within regulated industries would be desirable.
  • Knowledge of ISO standards and certifications would be desirable.
  • Experience with CRM systems, such as Salesforce is also desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Effectively drive business growth by prospecting and securing new business.
  • Develop and manage relationships with key accounts and business leaders.
  • Collaborate with BSI’s Global Internal and Supplier Audit teams and internal stakeholders to align with service priorities and strategy.
  • Engage with existing accounts through ongoing partnerships with Operational and Delivery.
  • Close new business deals by coordinating requirements, negotiating contracts, and integrating agreements.
  • Achieve assigned sales targets, ensuring profitable growth and strategic objectives.
  • Support sales colleagues across the Americas in promoting Internal and Supplier Audit services to their clients and prospects.
