This is a high-impact role for someonewho wants more than just managing accounts, this is about creating markets, building relationships, and helping scale a business globally. Based in Houston , this role will support a rapidly expanding commercial team focused on bringing next-generation sustainable chemical solutions to global markets. You’ll work directly with an experienced and highly respected leadership team and represent the company at industry conferences, trade fairs, and strategic meetings across the U.S., Europe, and potentially South America . This is not an account management role . There is no inherited book of business to maintain. This position is about building relationships, opening doors, and driving new revenue in emerging markets. This environment is entrepreneurial by design which means success requires independence, accountability, and the ability to operate without heavy structure or micromanagement. We are looking for someone who understands that startups reward initiative, ownership, and performance .

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in chemical or specialty chemical sales
  • Demonstrated success developing new business and growing revenue
  • Experience selling into industrial, specialty chemical, or biochemical markets
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and willingness to take ownership
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Comfortable operating in a startup environment with limited structure
  • Highly self-motivated, accountable, and reliable
  • Passport or ability to obtain one quickly
  • Willingness to travel frequently (U.S., Europe, and potentially South America)

Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop new commercial opportunities within the chemical and biochemical markets
  • Represent the company at industry conferences, trade fairs, and technical events worldwide
  • Build relationships with key customers, distributors, and strategic partners
  • Support market development initiatives and commercial strategy
  • Collaborate closely with leadership to drive revenue growth
  • Travel extensively across the United States and internationally
