About The Position

Sandvik Rock Processing Solutions is seeking a Business Development Manager for Western Canada (BC, Alberta, Saskatchewan). This role is responsible for expanding Sandvik's footprint in the region, shaping market strategy, building partnerships, and delivering innovative solutions. It involves leading business development efforts, identifying new equipment sales opportunities, managing a sales pipeline, and collaborating with internal teams to provide tailored solutions.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in business development, sales, or account management within mining, aggregates, or heavy industrial sectors
  • Solid understanding of comminution processes, crushing & screening equipment, or mineral processing flowsheets
  • Demonstrated success building relationships with senior stakeholders
  • Strategic thinker with strong commercial acumen
  • Excellent communicator with strong negotiation and presentation skills
  • Self-starter who thrives working independently across a large territory
  • Results-oriented with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to work across cross-functional teams

  • Experience in Western Canadian markets and familiarity with regional mining operations is a strong asset

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic plans to grow market share across Western Canada
  • Identify and capture new equipment sales opportunities in crushing, screening, and related technologies
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with mine operators, engineering firms, EPC contractors, and consultants
  • Own and manage a robust sales pipeline focused on lead generation
  • Collaborate closely with technical, product, and service teams to deliver tailored, high-value solutions
  • Conduct market and competitor analysis to inform strategy and uncover emerging opportunities
  • Represent Sandvik at industry events, trade shows, and customer sites
  • Support proposals, tenders, and technical presentations aligned with customer needs
  • Partner with aftermarket and service teams to ensure long-term customer success and lifecycle value
