About The Position

At Maersk, we are transforming global logistics by connecting and simplifying our customers’ supply chains. We are seeking a Business Development Manager to join our Business Development team and help drive sustainable growth across our integrated logistics solutions portfolio. In this role, you will identify new business opportunities, build strong customer relationships, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop value-driven solutions that support customer success. Reporting to the Head of Business Development MEC NAM, you will play a key role in expanding our market presence and delivering commercial results.

Requirements

Proven experience in business development, sales, account management, or commercial leadership roles.
Strong ability to identify opportunities, develop strategies, and convert prospects into long-term customers.
Demonstrated success building relationships with customers and key stakeholders.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative, and customer-focused environment.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Identify, pursue, and develop new business opportunities within target markets and customer segments.
Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing customers.
Develop and execute business development strategies aligned with organizational growth objectives.
Lead customer discussions, presentations, and solution proposals to support commercial opportunities.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders across commercial, operations, and customer experience teams to deliver customer-focused solutions.
Manage and maintain a healthy sales pipeline and provide accurate forecasting and reporting.
Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to identify growth opportunities and improve commercial performance.
