About The Position

The Business Development Manager – New Construction/Pre-commissioning will be responsible for developing and executing a strategic plan to grow USA DeBusk’s presence within the new construction pre-commission sector. This role will focus on building relationships, identifying opportunities, securing contracts, and positioning the company as a trusted service provider within EPC.

Requirements

  • Must be willing and physically capable of traveling and driving up to 60 % as required.
  • Must be capable of speaking and hearing regularly while utilizing hands to control or manipulate objects.
  • Must be capable of seeing close vision, distance vision, and ability to adjust focus.
  • Must be willing and capable of sitting, standing, walking, stooping, bending, or reaching above the shoulders.
  • Must be willing and physically capable of lifting objects weighing up to 25 pounds occasionally.
  • Must be willing and capable of performing computer-based tasks while sitting or standing at a computer-based workstation for prolonged periods of time.
  • Must be able to make general decisions requiring judgment and perform activities requiring sustained concentration.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering
  • 5+ years of experience selling directly to EPC firms such as Bechtel, Fluor, Kiewit, McDermott, and Technip Energies.
  • Existing client relationships within major EPC firms.
  • Strong technical aptitude and understanding of chemical, refining and LNG process operations.
  • Experience selling industrial services such as chemical cleaning, lube oil flushing, pickling and passivation, hydro milling, nitrogen services, mechanical services, or specialty maintenance.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain strong field presence, spending the majority of the time with customers to generate new business and strengthen long-term partnerships.
  • Research and analyze target market sectors to identify potential clients and partners. Record sales contacts and opportunities and obtain and retain project and company information for inclusion in marketing and proposal products.
  • Evaluate the new construction sector in order to stay up to date on trends and be informed of opportunities prior to becoming public knowledge and strategically position USA DeBusk for responding to RFPs.
  • Develop a business plan for area of responsibility that is consistent with short-term and long-term company objectives.
  • Lead proposal development, pricing strategy, and contract negotiations.
  • Collaborate with operations and safety teams to ensure service capability alignment.
  • Demonstrate services and hold lunch-and-learns to prospective clients.
  • Create and maintain account plans, including target account management, prospecting, and executing sales strategies with key partners.
  • Represent USA DeBusk at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions.
  • Project a positive image in representing the company to clients and the community.
  • Complete and submit accurate weekly activity reports on a timely basis.
  • Participate in monthly cadence meetings with managers to track progress and roadblocks.
