About The Position

We are partnering with a growing GovCon firm seeking a Business Development Manager with a strong capture focus for federal opportunities. This role is not a traditional sales position but rather centers on identifying, shaping, and winning federal work. The manager will be responsible for building and managing a qualified federal pipeline, leading capture efforts from opportunity identification through award, developing win strategies and competitive positioning, and maintaining relationships across agencies and industry partners. The role also involves supporting proposals through solutioning, pricing input, and strategy development. The ideal candidate will have experience working federal opportunities end-to-end and a proven track record of winning federal contracts.

Requirements

  • Worked federal opportunities end-to-end — from pipeline to award
  • Can identify, shape, and win federal work
  • Actually won federal work — not just supported it

  • Clearance (Secret / TS)
  • Exposure to IT, cyber, intel, or engineering programs
  • Tools: GovWin, SAM.gov, FPDS, USAspending
  • Capture or proposal leadership experience
