About The Position

The primary function of this role is to accelerate the growth of sales in the Power Efficiency Solutions (PES) S egment – focused on air moving technologies used in data center thermal management solutions and others . Primary duties include building a robust project funnel, revenue goal achievement, implementing a sales plan to drive profitable growth, and executing the plan. The successful candidate will be a subject matter expert in data center thermal management applications, energetic, persuasive , well- organized and able to demonstrate the ability to sell strategically. Define and execute effective sales strategies , business development, marketing, technical, and sales support programs to maximize sales and profitability. PES is one of three operating segments with approximately $ 1.7 Billion in revenue and produces electric motors, variable speed controls, and air moving solutions sold in data centers, semiconductors , life sciences, applied and commercial HVAC , residential HVAC , water heating, commercial refrigeration, pump, leisure water, and other general industries . Brands include Nicotra Gebhardt ® , Genteq ® , Fasco ®, Elco® , Leeson ® .

Requirements

  • BS in Business, Marketing, Engineering or a related field or 10+ years or relevant experience
  • 5+ years commercial experience in the HVAC and/or Data center space
  • Strong presentation communication skills
  • Strong/passionate customer focus
  • Sales experience focusing on distributors , contractors, consultants, and end-users
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, negotiation, and relationship management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and work to tight deadlines
  • Strong computer skills – e xperience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint Outlook & Teams)
  • Ability to work independently and remotely

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for meeting/exceeding sales targets while providing detailed and accurate sales forecasts.
  • Demonstrated success in pursuing long-cycle business development with complex equipment manufacturers (OEM) , including the engineering qualification process.
  • Experience identifying and influencing large capital projects with typically long sales cycles , deployed in data centers .
  • Creates and maintains projects in CRM, driving opportunities from lead , to bid , to close , and from order to cash.
  • Develops and implements strategic sales plan and institutes effective standard work for data center customers , sales processes based on company goals that will promote sales growth and customer satisfaction.
  • Drive specification and end - user demand for PES air moving end-to-end solutions , pulling through sales of centrifugal fans , axial fans , motors, controls, accessories, and others .
  • Monitors customer and market trends and clearly communicates risks and opportunities to leadership team .
  • Leads quarterly business and monthly performance reviews
  • Negotiates customer contracts and programs as required .
  • Establish effective relationships with key influencers related to data center projects , utilizing air moving solutions as part of the project scope , and worki ng with key OEMs to have RRX technologies qualified .
  • Gather detailed information about data center customers and project opportunities , identif y key decision-makers, understand strategic business challenges and priorities, and lead team in successful project and wins.
  • Drive s commercial and product strategies to outpace market growth of data center vertical .
  • Ensures high post-sales satisfaction, facilitating positive long-term relationships and high potential for repeat business with accounts.
  • Cultivates business and market development growth opportunities by promoting value propositions to meet customer needs.
  • Contributes to a culture of success and ongoing business and goal achievement.
  • Demonstrates technical product training and effectively communicates features, benefits and advantages over the competition .
