About The Position

We are a long -standing, family -owned construction management and general contracting firm serving Northeast Wisconsin and surrounding regions. With decades of experience and multi -generational leadership, we deliver high -quality projects across commercial, healthcare, industrial, and multi -family sectors. Our integrated approach—combining construction management, design -build services, and strong subcontractor partnerships—allows us to provide clients with a seamless, transparent building experience. The Business Development Manager is responsible for driving growth by building and maintaining strong client relationships, identifying new project opportunities, and supporting the pursuit of construction projects. This role plays a critical part in expanding our market presence while aligning new opportunities with the company’s strategic goals and capabilities.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in business development, sales, or client relations within the construction or related industry
  • Strong understanding of construction delivery methods (construction management, design -build, general contracting)
  • Established network within the regional construction, real estate, or development community preferred
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship -building skills
  • Self -motivated with a proactive and results -driven mindset
  • Ability to manage multiple opportunities and priorities effectively
  • Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite

  • Established network within the regional construction, real estate, or development community preferred

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic business development plans to generate new leads and project opportunities
  • Build and maintain relationships with owners, developers, architects, engineers, and community stakeholders
  • Identify and track potential projects in target markets (commercial, healthcare, industrial, multi -family, etc.)
  • Lead and support proposal development, presentations, and client interviews
  • Collaborate with preconstruction and project management teams to position competitive, client -focused solutions
  • Maintain and manage a robust pipeline of opportunities using CRM tools
  • Represent the company at industry events, networking functions, and community organizations
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and emerging opportunities
  • Support brand awareness and marketing initiatives in collaboration with internal teams
