About The Position

The Business Development Liaison is responsible for developing and maintaining strong referral relationships throughout the community to increase awareness of Ethan's Crossing of Indiana's behavioral health and addiction treatment services. This role serves as the primary ambassador to hospitals, healthcare providers, community organizations, employers, and other referral sources while promoting the organization's mission of providing compassionate, evidence-based care.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Healthcare Administration, Communications, Social Work, or a related field preferred.
  • Equivalent experience may be considered.
  • Two or more years of business development, healthcare marketing, physician liaison, admissions, or related experience preferred.
  • Experience in behavioral health, addiction treatment, healthcare, or hospital settings strongly preferred.
  • Established relationships within the Indiana healthcare community are a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic business development plans to increase referrals and admissions.
  • Build and maintain relationships with hospitals, physicians, emergency departments, behavioral health providers, therapists, social workers, case managers, community agencies, and other referral partners.
  • Conduct regular outreach through in-person meetings, presentations, networking events, and community engagement activities.
  • Educate referral sources about Ethan's Crossing's programs, admission criteria, clinical services, and treatment philosophy.
  • Identify new business opportunities and cultivate partnerships throughout Indiana and surrounding service areas.
  • Represent Ethan's Crossing at conferences, health fairs, professional association meetings, and community events.
  • Collaborate closely with the admissions team to facilitate smooth referral and admission processes.
  • Monitor referral trends and market conditions to identify opportunities for growth.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of outreach activities and referral contacts using the organization's CRM or tracking system.
  • Prepare regular reports detailing business development activities, referral metrics, and market analysis.
  • Ensure all marketing and business development activities comply with HIPAA, organizational policies, and applicable state and federal regulations.
  • Support community education initiatives related to behavioral health, substance use disorders, and recovery resources.
  • Participate in interdisciplinary meetings and strategic planning initiatives as assigned.
