Requirements

  • 20+ years of experience in consulting, with a strong background in infrastructure markets throughout Oregon.
  • Proven track record of business development and revenue growth in a leadership role.
  • Experience building and managing high-performing teams.
  • Strong client relationship skills and ability to lead complex, multi-disciplinary pursuits and projects.
  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or related field.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and operationalize a market growth strategy for expanding the business, based on market analysis and capital investments by clients across a diversity of markets.
  • Identify $5M in viable opportunities in the market within first three months and increase to $20M in the first year.
  • Target conversion of approximately $5M in wins in the first year.
  • Build and nurture long-term relationships with new and existing key clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction, retention, and account growth.
  • Identify and recruit strategic and delivery hires with a focus on geographic and technical expertise to reflect emerging market needs as well as client relationships.
  • Identify and manage strategic teaming partnerships to capture additional market share.
  • Develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline and update monthly for 90% accuracy.
  • Work with internal client-facing teams to identify key pursuits and opportunities to diversify service offerings and client base.
  • Foster seller/doer culture in portfolio to maximize revenue potential of existing MSAs and identify new client MSAs to pursue and grow sales pipeline.
  • Develop a sustainable sales pipeline of both near-term book/burn opportunities as well as larger multi-year revenue generating opportunities.
  • Collaborate with operations, technical, and business development teams to align resources and deliver integrated solutions.
  • Support staff development and mentoring to increase sales acumen of client facing team.
  • Represent the firm in industry forums, client engagements, and strategic pursuits.
  • Act operationally as a Project Manager, Project Lead and/or support staff on strategic and important projects as necessary or as appropriate.
  • Define and implement an Atlas� project delivery playbook for construction management projects in collaboration with clients and key internal stakeholders.
  • Represent Atlas in steering committees, industry forums, and strategic planning sessions.
  • Ensure alignment with Atlas group policies.
  • Oversee portfolios of projects, ensuring delivery on scope, on time, within budget, ensuring client satisfaction and respect of the highest safety and quality standards.
  • Implement project governance, risk management, and financial performance monitoring frameworks in collaboration with operational performance and support teams.
  • Ensure coordination across multiple sites and coordination with Atlas regional technical assets within the Oregon market.
