This role involves driving outbound activity through cold calls, creative outreach strategies, and follow‑up campaigns to vendor leads, inbound inquiries, and dormant accounts. You will qualify new prospects by identifying needs, budgets, timelines, and key decision‑makers, and partner with sales leadership to uncover strategic growth opportunities within assigned territories or verticals. Additionally, you will prepare and deliver accurate, timely customer quotes, process purchase orders, manage quote logs, open orders, and backlog reports, and track, review, and follow up on open opportunities, quotes, and pending order activities. You will also serve as a primary point of contact for day‑to‑day customer inquiries, understand customer needs and recommend solutions, build strong, trust‑based relationships, and coordinate with purchasing, logistics, vendors, and suppliers to ensure accurate, on‑time delivery.
