About The Position

We're looking for a proactive, relationship‑driven professional who thrives on connecting with people, uncovering opportunities, and driving growth. If you're energized by outreach, love solving customer problems, and enjoy wearing multiple hats in a fast‑paced environment, this role is for you. This role involves driving outbound activity through cold calls, creative outreach strategies, and follow‑up campaigns to vendor leads, inbound inquiries, and dormant accounts. You will qualify new prospects by identifying needs, budgets, timelines, and key decision‑makers, and partner with sales leadership to uncover strategic growth opportunities within assigned territories or verticals. Additionally, you will prepare and deliver accurate, timely customer quotes, process purchase orders, manage quote logs, open orders, and backlog reports, and track, review, and follow up on open opportunities, quotes, and pending order activities. You will also serve as a primary point of contact for day‑to‑day customer inquiries, understand customer needs and recommend solutions, build strong, trust‑based relationships, and coordinate with purchasing, logistics, vendors, and suppliers to ensure accurate, on‑time delivery.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in inside sales, account management, customer success, or vendor relations.
  • Experience managing a sales pipeline from initial outreach to close, including lead qualification, quoting, and follow‑up.
  • Demonstrated success in outbound prospecting, cold-calling.
  • Strong critical thinking, problem‑solving, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication abilities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, multitasking environment.
  • High level of accuracy, accountability, and customer‑service orientation.
  • Flexible, adaptable, and comfortable shifting priorities as needed.

  • Experience with CRMs, ERP systems, or customer portals is a plus.
