About The Position

This role involves working closely with the executive team to create and implement business development strategies specifically for power generation customers. The executive will identify new business opportunities, foster relationships with potential partners, and execute strategic business plans. A key aspect of the role is to provide customer insights regarding equipment emission requirements, power generation equipment performance, and market competitive intelligence. The position requires responsive communication with customers and colleagues on project status, quotes, and proposals. Coordination with the sales team for key oilfield service accounts and leading proposal development for RFPs are also essential. The executive will study the power generation business environment, identify emerging trends, and deliver presentations to clients, vendors, and advisors. Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and vendors is crucial. The role may also involve assisting the Corporate Marketing Team with product launches and marketing collateral, and attending industry networking events. Other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

  • Four-year degree in accredited University with technical or business focus preferred
  • Minimum 10 years of experience.
  • Strong computer skills
  • Proven ability to develop and maintain customer relationships
  • Travel required

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the ISE executive team to create and implement business development strategies with a focus on power generation customers.
  • Identify new business opportunities, develop relationships with potential partners, and execute strategic business plans.
  • Provide voice of customer inputs for business development strategy, with an emphasis on equipment emission requirements, power generation equipment performance, and general power market competitive intelligence.
  • Provide responsive communication to customers and co-workers regarding potential projects, quote opportunities, and updates on existing proposals.
  • Coordinate with the sales team to manage key oilfield service accounts.
  • Coordinate the development of proposals in response to requests for proposals (RFPs) to include working with other department heads, technical sales reps, production engineers, and sales managers/directors to coordinate account setup, customer vision/specification and product delivery.
  • Study and understand the power generation business environment and review emerging trends so NOV can exploit new opportunities ahead of the competition.
  • Deliver presentations and conduct seminars and meetings for clients, vendors, and advisors.
  • Build and strengthen relationships with customers, suppliers and vendors.
  • Periodically assist NOV Corporate Marketing Team with new product launches and marketing collateral for existing and newly commercialized products.
  • Attend regular industry networking events to promote NOV, continue relationship development and identify emerging trends.
  • Other duties as assigned by management.
