About The Position

Team Granger has grown from a single locally owned preowned vehicle lot to a multi-store operation including Chevrolet, Chrysler Dodge Jeep and Ram dealerships, as well as a multi-franchised RV store. We currently have over 600 units in stock and employ more than 130 team members, many of whom have grown with us. Our organization values family and quality people who contribute to our continued growth. We are seeking a dedicated Business Development Consultant to join our team. This role focuses on delivering exceptional customer service through effective communication, thorough product knowledge, and a positive attitude. The consultant will handle inbound and outbound calls, aiming to schedule appointments and enhance customer satisfaction.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience with phone sales, telemarketing, or customer service, preferably in automotive or business development.
  • Familiarity with scripts, power tracks, and alternative sales processes.
  • Professional, enthusiastic, and friendly attitude at first customer contact.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate with management and team members effectively.
  • Strong organizational, multitasking, and time management skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Word and data entry.

Responsibilities

  • Answer incoming phone calls professionally, following company scripts.
  • Make outbound calls to schedule sales and service appointments.
  • Log customer comments and update records accurately.
  • Schedule follow-up contacts when appointments are not made.
  • Confirm and reschedule appointments as needed.
  • Post appointments on the appointment board and notify relevant departments.
  • Follow up with sales or service departments regarding appointment outcomes.
  • Maintain and update customer information in the database.
  • Generate and send letters, postcards, and emails for follow-up reminders.
  • Respond to website customer inquiries and contact internet leads.
  • Assist with additional tasks as assigned.
  • Meet or exceed monthly performance goals.
