About The Position

We are seeking a Business Development Consultant to drive growth within the Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance (BFSI) sector in the US market. In this role, you will act as a trusted advisor to enterprise clients, helping them define business challenges and translate them into tailored technology and transformation solutions. You will combine business development, consultative selling, and solution advisory to support complex enterprise sales cycles across financial institutions and insurance organizations.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in business development, solution consulting, or presales
  • Strong background in IT services, consulting, or enterprise software sales
  • Understanding of enterprise sales cycles in regulated industries
  • Ability to lead consultative conversations with senior financial stakeholders
  • Strong communication, presentation, and storytelling skills
  • Experience with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce)
  • Analytical mindset with ability to translate business needs into solutions

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with BFSI clients (banking, insurance, fintech) is strongly preferred

Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities within the BFSI sector (banks, fintechs, insurance companies)
  • Engage with enterprise stakeholders to understand business needs, regulatory constraints, and digital transformation goals
  • Drive consultative sales cycles from discovery through solution design and deal closure support
  • Collaborate with pre-sales, solution architects, and delivery teams to shape tailored BFSI solutions
  • Prepare and deliver value-driven presentations, proposals, and solution narratives
  • Support RFP/RFI responses in highly regulated enterprise environments
  • Build and maintain relationships with senior stakeholders (C-level, VP, Director level)
  • Contribute to account strategy, pipeline development, and revenue growth planning
  • Monitor BFSI market trends, regulatory changes, and competitive landscape
