About The Position

We are looking for a Business Development Consultant to support growth in the Retail and Life Sciences sectors across the US market. In this role, you will act as a trusted advisor to prospective clients, helping them identify business challenges and translate them into tailored technology and service solutions. You will combine business development, solution consulting, and strategic advisory to drive new opportunities and support complex enterprise sales cycles.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in business development, solution consulting, or presales
  • Strong background in IT services, consulting, or enterprise software sales
  • Experience working with Retail and/or Life Sciences clients preferred
  • Ability to run consultative conversations with senior business stakeholders
  • Strong understanding of enterprise sales cycles and solution-based selling
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and storytelling skills
  • Experience working with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset

Nice To Haves

  • Established network in Retail or Life Sciences industries in the US
  • Experience in digital transformation, data, cloud, or enterprise platforms
  • Background in consulting or value engineering
  • Exposure to RFP-driven enterprise sales processes

Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities in Retail and Life Sciences verticals
  • Engage with enterprise clients to understand business needs and strategic priorities
  • Support end-to-end sales cycles in a consultative capacity (discovery → solution shaping → proposal → closure support)
  • Collaborate with pre-sales, solution architects, and delivery teams to design tailored solutions
  • Prepare and deliver compelling presentations, demos, and value propositions
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders (C-level, VP, Director level)
  • Contribute to account strategy and pipeline development
  • Support RFP/RFI responses and proposal development
  • Monitor industry trends and identify new market opportunities
